Complete care for your listening
Audio solutions
Listen first. Change afterwards.
In more than thirty years in hi-fi I have heard and put together a great many audio systems – from simple set-ups to genuine high-end. And one experience keeps repeating itself: good sound does not come from simply buying the most expensive components.
An audio system has to work as a whole.
Loudspeakers, amplifier, source, cabling, the room and the way it is all installed influence one another. And above all, the resulting sound has to suit the person who will be listening to the music.
That is why I ask first:
- What do you listen to?
- What kind of sound do you like?
- How big is the room you will be listening in?
- What works for you in your current system and what is missing?
- What do you actually want to gain from the change?
- And what budget do you have in mind?
Sometimes it makes sense to replace a key component. At other times, surprisingly much can come from the right loudspeaker placement, better cabling, a different connection or removing resonance problems.
I want to help create a system that above all brings joy in music – and goes on bringing it for years.
Advice
How to invest sensibly.
In more than thirty years in hi-fi I have seen many times that the road to better sound does not always mean buying new and more expensive components.
What matters is knowing why we are changing something and what we expect from the change — and also in what order. Money put into one part of a system often pays off only once the rest is ready for it.
We all listen differently. We have different music, a different room and a different idea of how a good system should play. That is why I prefer a personal conversation to universal recommendations, and look for a solution for a particular system and a particular listener.
I am not interested in buying for the sake of buying. The point is that money invested in audio should bring a real improvement. And sometimes the best advice is to change nothing at all.
True home cinema
A perfect experience in both sound and picture.
A true home cinema is more than just hi-fi — it is a complete multimedia experience. We deal with the room and its acoustics, multichannel sound in 5.1, 7.1 and larger systems, projection or a large-format television, as well as the AV electronics and the picture and sound sources.
Simple operation, comfortable seating and the right lighting matter just as much. We design the whole system so that it works well today and can easily be extended in the future.
Write to me — we will design a home cinema to fit your room exactly.
Music and people
Music and good sound bring people together.
For me hi-fi has never been only about equipment. In more than thirty years in this field I have met a great many interesting people – customers, designers, manufacturers and music lovers. Many of those meetings turned into friendships that last to this day.
I enjoy talking about music, about experiences with different systems and about what works well for someone at home. We all hear a little differently, and it is exactly this exchange of experience that makes our hobby interesting.
For me Weber Elektronika is not only about equipment, but also about the people who enjoy music and good sound – whatever their system costs.
